Our agency, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County, NY, held its
Chess.com activity on August 16th, 2025. Thanks to a grant from
Chess.com for National Chess Day!
Over breakfast, our Bigs, Littles, and staff came together to learn the game of chess—both on the computer and against live opponents.
Our “experts” were Littles and Bigs who have enjoyed chess for many years and were excited to share their passion for the game.
Now, our agency even has a lending library of travel chessboards available to loan out so everyone can continue enjoying matches together!
